This charming print features a vibrant Central London 1950's scene, illuminated by the bright lights of Piccadilly Circus.
Molly Moss was born in Hull and attended Hull Art School before becoming a member of Hampstead Artists’ Council. In 1950 she created ‘Out and about; winter London’ for London Transport, which was produced as a pair poster, the other half of the pair comprising of only text. The pair poster was produced as a promotion tool for London’s West End and features a bustling city scene complete with transport vehicles, stylishly dressed people and a large theatre billboard announcing, ‘Continuous performance daily from 10am, Sundays from 4pm.’
