Christopher Richard Wynne Nevinson’s 1925 entitled ‘Now is the season of the year’ is an exciting look at the adventures which await travelers on the London Underground when they seek the fresh air spaces which London has on offer. The romantic look at evening excursions shows pleasure-seekers as they calmly float atop peaceful waters aglow with the light from numerous lanterns hanging in the trees.
Featuring text: ‘Now is the season of the year to leave the stuffy town, and in the cool evening seek out a fresh and airy space for pleasure by London’s Underground.’
